 Cones
Buxus Sempervirens
A bushy evergreen Buxus cone with small
rounded, glossy dark green leaves. Its dense
habit makes it perfect for topiary use as it gives
such a solid clipped finish. Grow in almost any
moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial
shade for optimum growth.
From around 50cm tall upwards and looks
equally stunning in a pot or in the ground. |
 Taxus Baccata
Taxus baccata is an evergreen, dark green,
very fine leaved shrub, it bears red berries in
late spring or early summer. A great specimen
for topiary, it clips well into a dense solid shape,
in this case a cone. Will grow at its best on free
draining but moist soil in sun or shade.
From around 100cm tall upwards and looks
equally stunning in a pot or in the ground. |
