Standard Buxus Sempervirens A bushy evergreen Buxus cone with small rounded, glossy dark green leaves. Its dense habit makes it perfect for topiary use as it gives such a solid clipped finish. Grow in almost any moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade for optimum growth. 60-70cm tall and looks equally stunning in a pot or in the ground. Laurus Nobilis (Bay ) Aromatic, frost-hardy evergreen with culinary uses. Will grow in any ordinary garden soil in a sunny or semi-shaded position, sheltered from the coldest and frost-bearing winds. Also suitable as a subject for a cool conservatory providing the plant is place out of direct sunlight. 100-140cm tall and looks equally stunning in a pot or in the ground. Ligustrum Ionandrum The small, glossy, dark green leaves look almost like 'box', making it a perfect subject for topiary. Relatively fast growing, it will need trimming regularly to keep it tidy. Requires a sunny, sheltered, position and might behave as a semi-evergreen in colder winters. They will grow in any ordinary soil in either sunshine or shade. Bears small white flowers early to mid-summer if the plants are left untrimmed. 100-140cm tall and looks equally stunning in a pot or in the ground.
